TRIPPINGS

December 22, 2008 – Our first night in Oman. I met Meyang (in the middle), Jona’s sister. My Aunt and my Uncle also came and left when we are settled. It's so sad and lonely here in Oman especially when you are used to going out at night in Manila and suddenly you will be in place like this.....very far from the city and taxis are expensive.

Good thing I survived the first day and remaining days is history.

January 31, 2011 -  Boring Saturday night…took photo of ourselves before going to sleep. What to do - as what they always say. Selfie selfie.

February 01, 2009 - Our first gala to the mountain near PDO…we thank you for one person who took us there and later who tour us around Muscat which is reachable only for 1 to 2 hours drive. It is quite awkward since we are new here in Muscat and we are already going with a stranger. How can we go around if we will not try to trust not from our race, since Filipino people here in Oman are not that approachable? Most of them are high-nosed, like they are someone in the limelight though they are not really that rich, just having the luxury of their forbidden lovers.

February 12, 2009 - This is what we do in the house take photos of ourselves while waiting for the driver to take us to the office. There is nothing interesting outside our house. Just try to look at the photo below which I took from the roof top.

February 06, 2009 – Met Carlo the first time then went straight to Al Falaj.
It is so comforting knowing that there are still filipinos' who are well mannered and respectful.

February 13, 2009 – We had visitors in the house, Carlo, Jek and Marvin. We had dinner and drink to celebrate for no occasion. We are just bored and nothing to do so we tried to enjoy. Hehehe

March 16, 2009 – Celebrated my birthday at Pizza Hut, Al Khuwair with Duding Jona, Duding Carlo, Duding Jek and Duding Marvin.

March 20, 2011 – had bowling at Al Masa Bowling Center in Al Shatti Qurum with Jek and Carlo.

April 12, 2009 – trip to Sur… we decided to go on a trip to Sur for a change….there is really nothing there to see, just sand and small green desert plants. But we enjoyed our trip and got exhausted on the way back. Jek and Carlo are so cool that we got to experience rolling on the sand from the mountain top. The feel of the sand is so warm and encouraging you to fell asleep… so comforting.   We will plan a trip again like this next time.

First Time Out of Phil

My first blog….since high school I have been using a diary to express myself….everything that I feel, do and will make…. Good to know to have this thing “blog”.

I have been reading some blogs but never had the time to make one.

Anyway I also don’t know what to say or post here.

I think I must start when I set my foot here in Oman to work…

I never thought of going anywhere aside from going to U.S.A. which is my ultimate dream coz of knowing that my Aunt is living there with her family.

I got this strange email...as follows:

This is strange for me because I don’t even know any place such as Muscat, Oman and I received so many of this emails which I have replied and all are asking money in the end. So I ignored it and suddenly my mother told me that I should check with one of my Aunt (who is working in Middle East) if this email is a scam or what. I send her email and she responded….the email is real and the offer is good. So I directly email Wael who send me full details of the company and the offer. I accepted. From that time, I did not get any mails from him. So I was thinking that they changed their mind.

After 4 months, as I was enjoying with my friends at SM Moa, my phone rings. Its unknown number and I answered thinking who it could be. It was Wael, informing me that the visa has been processed  which he will send withon the day and I need to be there December 21…and it is before Christmas. Huhuhuh

It’s now or never…this is a chance I think!

So I decided.....after knowing that there is another Filipina secretary going with me in the same plane and time. - December 21, 2008
